In March 2006 Beaverton police, covered in full swat gear with guns ready, stormed Higher Balance’s main office .
Nothing would change their belief that, in their own words, Eric Pepin was already guilty. This was before they searched for any evidence or spoke to a single witness. Below are parts of a shocking story about the case that would destroy two innocent lives and damage so many others…
Eric Pepin, the president, had been accused by an ex-employee of having a sexual relationship 8 weeks before his 18th birthday… 4 YEARS after he said it occurred and after he had been fired. Based on nothing but conflicting stories the accuser could not keep straight, the police led by Detective Mike Smith, put on their helmets, loaded their guns and raided the building.
Inside they found a normal, quiet office filled with a dedicated staff steadily working on their dream of contributing their part to a better world through meditation, activating the sixth sense and spiritual awakening.
Eric Pepin threw his full cooperation behind the police, who it seems never investigated the man making the accusations. They also never found any evidence that any of the man’s claims were true except 3 DIFFERENT stories he told police. (Later the man would ADMIT in depositions, under oath, many of the claims being made never happened. Nobody cared about his admission which occurred over a year after the trial ended clearing Eric Pepin.)
Every legal advisor, a retired captain of Portland’s police force, and a former federal prosecutor all assured Eric Pepin that it was so obvious the claims were made up, that once the police investigated they would be dismissed.

I really feel fo you as a white cell and all the powers that can ascend upon us from the dark side to destroy what w know and who we are. As I said, a non-profit organization was taken over in 2002, and I moved on from there, and want to understand the in-between but have not marshalled all the skills to “jump” yet, but I am getting closer. Just as the technology changes ever faster, that is the mirror that we, as white cells are moving faster as well.

Well, perhaps my original message was not possted. I cried when I overheard you speaking about the lawsuit at an adjoining table next to me in Hawaii outside before breakfast one morning. It dredged up all the stuff from the lawsuit we charged when people took over our organization. I have changed, and still believe in people and am awaening my spiritual passion, amidst health issues to be resolved and transformed, and I want to be a master of these techniques and integrate all the teachings. Thanks for being there.

This should be a lesson to us all….don’t “believe the worst” until you have the facts. Unfortunately the facts and true story are slow to come to light in many cases…not just this one.
When I speak the name “Eric Pepin” or “Higher Balance Institute” my head is held HIGH! and “I” am honored.

The legal system in the United States is flawed when an ambitous prosecutor can use it to futher his own politcal career.
How many others have been harmed by wrongful prosecution in a country built on a foundation of protecting the innocent.

I was new to HBI when I heard of this rubbish… It is truely hard for me to believe that the law would allow such nonsense to progress that far… Anyway, we have all seen how things turned out, and, I believe we’re all the stronger for it.. Many thanks to Eric and crew for not allowing this to end a thing as wonderful as HBI..

That garbage does not matter to those of us seeking the Truth, when something feels right deep down inside we all know we are on the right path. I believe that the Darkside was trying to overshadow/overcome a Positive Force (Higher Balance) by trying to creep its negative thought patterns into the students/believers/the public/those using Higher Balance to get in touch with their Higher Self etc, therefore adding to the dark band already encircling Gaia, that we have been successfully breaking down my replacing the old dark negative compacted thought forms which were created over the ages through the collective consciousness of humanity, with our new found awareness and positive thought forms.
Kudos to you for not letting the Darkside win!!!!!
I cried when I overheard Eric speak about it in Hawaii, and it reminded me of a similar power play with my husband and myself in a non-profit organization, and I really felt for Eric in a heartfelt sort of way. I have changed a lot since 2002, but my husband has not, and has become more bitter, and I am trying to not give up and develop my spiritual awareness, and I moved past it. Thank you for listening. So much more to learn and I feel as if I am moving or navigating sometimes, but I’m not sure I have all the skills yet to do the jumping. Thanks.
